Fried Chocolate modak
Ingredients:

For Cover:
All Purpose Flour or maida - 1 cup
Whole wheat flour - 1/4 cup
Semolina or suji/fine rava - 1/4 cup
Salt for taste
Oil - 1 tspn
Milk - 3/4 cup approx (Milk can be substituted with water)

For Filling:
Freshly grated coconut - 1 cup
Dark compound chocolate - 1/4 cup
Milk compound chocolate - 1/4 cup

Oil for deep fry

Method:

Take a bowl and add all the flours and semolina to it.

Add salt and mix well.

Heat 1 tspn oil and add to the flour mix.

Using spoon mix it well.

Add little milk at a time and start kneading the dough.

Let the dough rest for 30 mins.

Meanwhile, take a pan and dry roast grated coconut for 2-3 minutes.

In a double boiler or microwave melt both chocolates.

Add coconut to the chocolate mixture.

Now after 30 mins make small balls from the dough.

Roll out small puris and fill the chocolate coconut filling and prepare modaks.

Deep fry the modaks on a medium flame to make them crispy.
