Today I am posting an eggless version of Chocolate cake with icing. I have made it without using condensed milk and without oven. Chocolate cake is liked by all in my family. Since it does not take much time to make it, I thought to bake this one last Saturday. Actually I wanted to post the video of it on my YouTube channel. I got many requests for this recipe from viewers and my friends. So finally made it.

It is super easy to prepare. The taste is also great. The texture is superb as well it is moist. This is tried and tested recipe. With the use of very few ingredients you can make this recipe. Below is the recipe and also the video. Try out this yummy cake at home and give me the feedback.

  3. Take a bowl and add curds and sugar to it. Mix well.

  4. Add vanilla essence and oil and mix well.

  5. Now add sieved flour to it in batches.

  6. Don't over mix. Just use cut and fold method for mixing.

  7. Grease the cake tin and add the batter to it.

  8. Just tap the cake tin 3-4 times to remove bubbles.

  9. Place the cake tin in oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.

  10. After 30-40 minutes insert skewer or toothpick and check.

  11. Unmould the cake after it cools completely.

  12. For preparing chocolate ganache keep a sauce pan on medium flame and add cream to it.

  13. You just need to melt the cream. Don't boil it.

  14. Once the cream is hot, switch off the flame and add chopped dark chocolate to it.

  15. Mix well until all chocolate chunks melt and you get chocolate sauce.

  16. Cool it for 10 minutes.

  17. Now cut the cake in two horizontal parts.

  18. To one part add sugar syrup and apply a layer of your chocolate ganache.

  19. Place the second part of cake and soak it with little sugar syrup and pour Chocolate ganache on top of the cake and also cover the sides.

  20. Cool for 5-10 minutes.

  21. Decorate with cherries and whipped cream.

SWARA'S
COOKING TIPS

#1

While setting your curds one night before, add stem of one green chilly to it and you will get thick curds.

#2

While making dough for puri, just add little rava or semolina to it. You will have crispier puris.

#3

Use heavy bottomed vessel to make rava upma, halwa, kheer, etc to prevent burning.
